Top Award at the ECITB Active Cup! 🏆 Our UK Operating Center achieved success in the prestigious ECITB Active Cup, with a team emerging as champions of this challenging project management competition. Organized by Cranfield University on behalf of the Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB) and the European Construction Institute, the Active Cup requires teams from various sectors to manage a simulated project from inception to completion, aiming for the highest profit margin possible. Over an intense three-day period in June, our teams had the challenge of constructing an environmental monitoring center. Through their innovative approach and strategic planning, both teams excelled, with Team 2 taking home the top prize! This win is a measure of our commitment to excellence in project management. GET Inspired: Our recap of the Global Energy Transition Congress and Exhibition 🌍   We just got back from Milan where we had a great time at the Global Energy Transition Congress and Exhibition, a major new industry platform with a focus on decarbonizing industry and achieving net zero emissions.   Together with energy and tech companies, thought leaders, financial institutions and other stakeholders, we had many excellent discussions on how we can collectively overcome obstacles and achieve the energy transition. On our booth and in panels and talks, our teams presented our offerings in low-carbon hydrogen, carbon capture, sustainable aviation fuel and advisory solutions for the energy transition. Our Chief Executive Officer Arnaud Pieton was present for a plenary session, setting out how Technip Energies is helping meet the challenge through low-carbon solutions that are affordable and ready to scale up. Sharing our expertise at the Global Energy Transition Congress! ⚡ Starting on Monday, we are excited to be taking part in the first edition of a major new energy event, the Global Energy Transition Congress and Exhibition. Taking place in Milan, Italy, the three-day event will bring together over 300 CEOs and ministers as well as energy experts, innovators and thought leaders to address the critical challenges and opportunities to decarbonize the industry and accelerate the transition to a net-zero society. Tech transfer for bio-polyester production with Shell! 🔬🧵 We are pleased to announce a technology transfer agreement with Shell Catalysts and Technologies to accelerate the commercialization of our Bio-2-Glycols technology. This new agreement brings together Shell’s research and development with our technology to offer the market a more efficient, bio-based polyester solution, allowing polyesters to be produced with a lower carbon footprint. Mono ethylene glycol is traditionally produced using fossil-based feedstock to make polyesters for packaging materials, such as plastic bottles and clothing apparel. Through this agreement, we are able to propose a bio-based solution that will contribute to the net-zero trajectory. Meeting clients in Saudi Arabia! 🤝 Our Digital Business team recently had the pleasure of meeting with a group of 30 clients at the Technip Energies Saudi Clients Forum, held in Al-Khobar. As part of the event, the team presented innovative digital solutions and ran a contest in which two winners received a replica of our Cybernetix Maestro Arm, a robotic arm made for offshore operations. 🦾 This event completes the Middle Eastern series of client forum events. MIDOR project in Egypt enters final stages! 🏗️   We are pleased to report that the MIDOR expansion project in Alexandria, Egypt, has reached mechanical completion.   We conducted an engineering, procurement and construction contract to modernize and expand the MIDOR complex, increasing its refining capacity from 100,000 to 160,000 barrels per stream day and upgrading the product to cleaner specifications such as Euro V emissions standards. We have now achieved a milestone for commercial production where the refinery is able to process 95 percent of its new capacity.   Regarding our sustainability commitment to communities, we also expect to complete in July the upgrading of two nearby health centers for local people.   We are delighted that, assessing our overall performance on the project, our client has given a satisfaction index of 9.34 out of 10. 🎯   #BePartOfTheSolution #Egypt #Refining
