    Thrilled to announce that Cycle Platform is now part of CIRPASS!   CIRPASS, backed by the European Commission, strives to revolutionize the way products are tracked and understood in terms of sustainability and environmental impact.     Proud to announce the successful closure of our pre-seed round for a total amount of €500,000, led by a London-based Family Office, the investment platform Startupxplore, our technological partner Galeo Tech, and ENISA. Achieving this milestone will allow us to continue growing and simultaneously developing our two products: the front, a fashion e-commerce based on a new consumer purchase/repurchase model, and the back, our tech platform to help the fashion industry to identify every single garment in a unitary way when manufactured, to trace, and implement European regulations regarding the Digital Product Passport (DPP). The prelude to an effective an necessary join between  Primary and Secondary Markets, the only solution to reorganize the fashion industry towards true circularity, thereby solving the issue of textile waste.     Cycle Platform is delighted to welcome Nina Urgell Cloquell to our team as our partner, ambassador and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).  Nina, “@ninauc” ( https://lnkd.in/daR2j6qy ) is one of the very first digital content creator based in fashion starting a new form of social media marketing back in 2014 with a substantial international community over 820,000 followers on IG and generating more than 5 million monthly impressions.  A regular at the front rows in London, Milan, Paris fashion shows, and major fashion publications worldwide, Nina has worked with top brands such as Dior, Gucci, Fendi, Acne Studios, Jacquemus, Paco Rabanne, Loewe, Givenchy, and Prada, among others. Nina holds multiple roles within the company, as she is not only a shareholder and a member of the Management Committee, but also takes on the responsibility of overseeing the digital marketing and communication division. This entails leading the strategic direction of the company's Social Media presence, content creation, and PR. Furthermore, she provides assistance to the purchasing department by curating brands and products for inclusion in the Cycle Platform portfolio. Additionally, she collaborates on the development of an ongoing NINA X CYCLE PLATFORM capsule. The reputation and perception achieved by the "Nina" brand over the last years added to her lifestyle: co-founder and Creative Director of Midnight cosmetics, interest for interior design, photography, and music, passion that she also develops playing at international renowned clubs and festivals, along with her values of equality and sustainability, are the fundamental basis of the pillars of Cycle Platform and have consolidated the union of both parties. Cycle Platform, created at the end of 2022, is a technological platform that allows each garment to be traced uniquely from its origin, connected to the inventories of the main fashion brands, designers and retailers, both online and physical. This facilitates the creation of a secure market of sale/repurchase ensuring the authenticity of the products, convenience for both users and industry as well as obtaining invaluable data throughout the entire lifespan of the products, unprecedented until now. The purpose of the project is to prevent any Premium and luxury fashion garment or accessory from ending up in landfills in the future, creating the definitive union between the Primary and Secondary markets in an orderly, traced and controlled manner, and certifying its recycling in accordance with the new EU regulations in textile matters. Linking this operation to future regulatory requirements of the EU in the 2025-2030 agenda such as the DPP (Digital Product Passport) and solutions to ERP (Extended Producer Responsibility) will be key to the scalability of the project.
