Ready, set, let’s go! Yesterday, around 370 of our headquarter‘s employees changed their business attire for running gear and participated in the Ingolstadt company run. This has been an annual event for us for the past years – and #TeamMediaMarktSaturn was strong on the tracks: We not only participated with the second largest team but also won the category "Azubi-SuperStar" as well as the second place in "Mixed Team".   And we even took part in the run the #BetterWay and held a stance for sustainability: The shirts of our MediaMarktSaturn runners were made from ten percent cleaned and reused marine waste and 90 percent recycled bottles.   #runtastic #welldone #event 

Keep on growing in Turkey💪: We are already close to 100 stores in that country and we are proud to share with you some impressions of our latest opening: MediaMarkt Turkey just opened a new store in the city of Trabzon with our new Look&Feel concept for upgrading stores in the Core format. From special Experience Zones that focus on trend themes such as electromobility or gaming and invite customers to try out the various products, to a reinterpretation of the color code and a new, more sustainable modular furniture system - the focus is always on the #customer #experience. Goooooooaaaaal for MediaMarkt Nederland ⚽ Not yet, but we are more than ready for that! We are celebrating being market leader in the Netherlands. That's why the right partnership should not be missing! From next season, we will be the proud main partner of Feyenoord Rotterdam, one of the country's most successful soccer clubs. This partnership goes beyond pure branding; it's about creating a better connection with the local community. And we will also use the partnership to strengthen our MyMediaMarkt offerings for our loyal customers. Now the official jersey was presented. The MediaMarkt logo appears in black on the chest of the jersey. The logo also appears on the training kit for European matches, on the back of the Feyenoord Women's 1 jerseys and on the front of all Feyenoord Academy youth teams. 🎉 Our Summer party 2024: An unforgettable evening from our employees for our employees!   Yesterday, it was time to celebrate our #TeamMediaMarktSaturn at our annual summer party at the headquarter in Ingolstadt. What does that mean? Getting to know old and new faces, celebrating across all hierarchies and departments, our leadership team behind the bar serving our employees, and selling cocktails to raise donations. We are in the middle of the European Championships ⚽ and many people are getting excited - including our employees. For some of them in particular, the European Championships are having a significant impact on their work. One of them is Ilya Olsufyev from the International Campaigning Team. Lets´s get some insights on the development of this Europe-wide #marketing #campaign from him: Preparations began back in December with Saatchi & Saatchi Germany. One of the challenges was to develop a "one-size-fits-all" solution that works internationally. "We also wanted to show how to enjoy the best football moments together, no matter how or where from," explains Ilya. For the shoot in Barcelona Henry da Costa was chosen to direct the shoot in Barcelona – the perfect location for capturing football celebrations. In addition to professional actors, 30 colleagues from MediaMarkt España were cast to give the campaign a local touch and to include our wonderful employees. Some numbers about the shooting: 💪 4 production units were involved 🎞 17 vignettes short stories about the football festivities – were filmed, along with numerous additional content for digital and social media platforms. 📺 Over 300 products were shooted, including large TVs and household appliances aswell as highlights like the Air Fryer in country colours. The first impression counts ⭐ This also applies to a visit to our stores. That's why we have made a real statement in our latest store concept - the Entrance Statement. We are equipping more and more stores throughout Europe with it for new openings and as part of modernizations. The Entrance Statement is a separate module that is placed directly in the entrance area of the store. It welcomes our customers, invites them to stroll through the store and at the same time visually separates the sales area from the online pick-up or checkout area. The focus is an impressive TV 📺 (at best 98 inches and larger), which attracts attention from afar. Product placements and decorative architectural elements such as curtains and spotlights round off the presentation. ❤️We are strengthening our presence in Switzerland!  Since 1994, we have been active in Switzerland – now we are further expanding and take over 20 Melectronics locations. The stores, which are all located in major national shopping centres, as well as the almost 200 employees and trainees will thus become part of MediaMarkt Switzerland. It is our aim to expand our store network into previously untapped locations and to link it more closely with the growing online business. We are thus strengthening our nationwide presence and customer proximity. #TeamMediaMarktSaturn #retail

🚀 Our new Customer Care Voicebot is live in Austria!   Emmi, our artificial intelligence chatbot integrated into our webshops, has a new addition to the family. Our Call Center Voicebot is fast, efficient and user-friendly and it consistently delivers the right answers about store information to keep our customers satisfied. Based on artificial intelligence, the Voicebot at MediaMarkt Österreich is a prime example of in-house implementation using #Google technology.   Integrated into the call center, it responds to standard customer queries about store information, having been trained specifically for these inquiries. Standard questions such as "When is the store open?", "Where is the nearest store?", or "What is the store's email address?" are swiftly handled by the Voicebot. In a test phase with a proof of concept, we were able to see a so called match rate of 85.5 percent of customer inquiries were successfully answered by our Voicebot.   This innovative service is a result of great collaboration between our Contact Center #AI Team, Global Customer Care and Customer Care in Austria. And the next goal is already set: preparations are underway for a rollout in Germany.   Furthermore, #TeamMediaMarktSaturn is also actively working on several #GenAI projects for both employees and customers, some of which are already implemented, while others are currently being assessed for optimal deployment.
