ZEDRA was delighted to attend the topping out ceremony for the Woolgate Exchange alongside leading Taiwanese insurance firm Cathay Life Insurance Co., Ltd. (Cathay Life) earlier this week. The event marked completion of a successful environmentally-friendly refurbishment of the Woolgate Exchange in the City of London. As managing Trustees, ZEDRA has been instrumental in handling all the administration related to the refurbishment. The Woolgate Exchange is a nine-story building that will be entirely electrically run on renewable energy, combining sustainability, innovation, and functionality. The refurbishment anticipates net-zero carbon in both construction and operation thanks to an ambitious ‘reuse and retain’ strategy.
