Creativity is... During my time in the Middle East, I met some truly formidable women. From our first meeting Nouf Mohamed Al-Bushlaibi's fierce passion for ideas shone through. In the spirit of David Ogilvy's divine discontent, good was never good enough. She wanted work that broke glass ceilings. And that is exactly what she achieved in the 3 years she has been leading marketing and comms at Department of Culture & Tourism Abu Dhabi. She has put Abu Dhabi on the map as a top 10 travel and cultural destination through her championship of creativity... which she believes is modern day magic. It has been our honor to work with Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) for the launch of its global PR campaign for #Saadiyat Cultural District (SCD). This campaign is very close to our hearts. It is a message of cultural hope from the UAE and Abu Dhabi, inspiring people to embark on journeys of creativity and innovation. It narrates the story of #SCDabudhabi, one of the greatest concentrations of cultural institutions, and its role as a global platform for creativity, innovation, and opportunity. Saadiyat Cultural District is a testament to Abu Dhabi's commitment to preserving heritage while embracing a forward-looking vision. The brilliant teams at DCT, along with amazing individuals from across the world—cultural ambassadors, inspiring leaders, creative visionaries, and more—came together to bring this campaign to life. Involved in the campaign from development to implementation, we activated 29 offices in the Ogilvy and WPP global network to tell the SCD story to the world in eight languages. The campaign had a global reach, helping to tell the story of SCD to the world.
